What is ViDitto? I can't make heads or tails out of it.
ViDitto is a site where users build their own Video Streaming pages, using the embed codes from those video sites that provide them. Building pages (or Ditto's as we call them) is fast, fun, addicting and FREE. Users have full control over themes, text colors link colors, and graphics to allow them total control over the appearance of their Ditto.

How can your service be free?
Even those behind ViDitto must eat ;-) The advertisements that are placed on your Ditto helps us pay the rent.

Are there any limits to how many Ditto's I may build?
No, the only requirement is that you add enough content to the last one you set up, before building another. The REASON we do this is to avoid Bots (automated systems) from coming in and taking up a handful of Ditto titles.

Will the Video's I add to my Ditto be there a month from now ?
That all depends on your sources and what kind of material you are adding. We do not restrict the content of you Ditto other than insisting that your material be suitable for family viewing. We figure, the sources directly can deal with any issues of Copyright. However, if you for example embed something that you KNOW is a copyright infringement, then don't be surprised when the source discovers this and removes it from their content.

I know my Ditto comes with it's own Widget... but... WHAT the heck is a Widget?
A Widget is a method of publishing information or supplying a tool, that can be remotely embedded into remote web pages, blogs and other Web documents simply by copying and pasting the Widgt's "Embed Code" into the destination page. Simply copy (CTRL+C) your Widget's code and then paste (CTRL+V) it into the document or blog as you would any other HTML entry. If your destination's editor reads HTML formmated text, then chances are your Ditto Widget will display just fine.

Your Desktop Gadget looks cool, but what is it for ?
The ViDitto Desktop Gadget is a way to remotely monitor your favorite Ditto pages for updates, or simply to have a fast and convenient way to find them again, right from your Windows PC Desktop. When you visit ViDitto, you should keep it running in your task tray. When you find Ditto's that you'd like to track, simply click the ADD TO GADGET button on the left side of the Ditto page, and it will automatically add that Ditto to your Desktop Gadget. Pretty easy stuff...
